Proposing a qualification in resilient technologies #
Preamble #
So much for being part-time in my main role this year to give space to other ideas. In February I returned to full-time through additional union advocacy and fill-in teaching. Add in my great dad passing, coaching three football teams, and an active household... life has been full.
Still, by sticking to 5am starts — a couple of hours of clear air each day before morning madness — and a recent return to part-time, I've managed to get some things together.
Saved, and a Diploma in Resilient Technologies #
Everything I've read, listened to, ruminated, and experienced over the last four years has funnelled through my professional and personal world view to create Saved. And now a Diploma in Resilient Technologies:
- Pitch for a new Diploma in Resilient Technologies
- Full proposal for a new Diploma in Resilient Technologies
Trying to follow through #
After reasonably failing to become a local councillor last year, something I said was:
If we accept that the broader system is making things worse for our rangatahi — if we fall in love with the problem — then we can just get on with solving things for ourselves out here.
Now is the time to build our own resiliency, build our own self-sufficiency ... and support and invest in each other.
I'm trying to follow through on that call-to-arms at Saved.
